EXTERIOR
The fabulous E-Type continues to endure as a design master piece with unmistakable style and presence. The Silver Grey paintwork has a deep gloss throughout and has settled over the last few years since it was taken back to bare metal, media blasted, etch primed and repainted in this unique colour.

The brightwork is in excellent overall condition whilst the chromed areas such as the bumpers, door handles and surrounds show very well with excellent fit and finish.

INTERIOR
Sitting behind the steering wheel with a view overlooking the road ahead, this E-Type gives you a palpable sense of excitement. The plush leather interior, rounded dials and toggle switches provide a feeling of luxury whilst managing to retain the racing derived DNA of its predecessors – something that becomes immediately present whilst on the road.

The Connolly Hide beige leather seats exhibit only a light patina while door cards, sill trim and gearbox tunnel are taut and clean. The cabin space is very tidy and elegantly finished with the distinguished wood rimmed wheel that still exhibits an unspoilt lacquer.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Having covered a mere 1,500 miles since it’s last service, where amongst various works a new alternator, water pump and cam covers were installed, the car also received a new second fan switch as a preventative measure.

During it’s extensive re-commission the drivetrain was uprated to a 5 Speed Gearbox (The Original 4 Speed is included) while it also received a new flywheel lock plate ensuring this E-Type presents in excellent mechanical health, ready to be admired and enjoyed by it’s next owner.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
What better way to compliment this sensational E-Type than a set of Chrome 15 x 6 inch 72 spoke wire wheels and chrome spinners. These vintage wheels are wrapped in Avon rubber on all four corners.

The braking system has had a significant overhaul to ensure performance is a match for the engine, pulling up quickly and smoothly in a straight line.

HISTORY FILE
Originally supplied in May 1964, early history on this E Type is a little light although latterly both SNG Barratt and Pitt Lane Ltd have invested a great deal of time and experience to develop and improve this quite lovely Roadster.

Since 2012, and over a 7 year period, the car has been subject to a full body restoration as well as an engine and drivetrain overhaul before being placed into carefully controlled storage with a collector in 2019.

With 3 folders full of invoicing for work carried out the commitment to ensuring the car runs and presents as it should have been second-to-none. Now out of storage and available for the first time in 5 years, this unique Series 1 is available for immediate viewing here in our showroom.
