Description
Unveiled at the New York Motor Show on 25 January 1986, the Aston Martin V8 EFI Volante was produced from 1986 to 1989; 214 were built, of which only around 30 were this right-hand drive, automatic version. This model featured the electronically controlled Weber Marelli sequential fuel injection system, which provided smoother, more fuel-efficient power compared to conventional carburettor models.
Outward features include a flatter bonnet and BBS cross-spoke wheels (this vehicle has the optional 16-inch Ronal wheels for the Vantage). The interior is fragrant with luxurious Connolly leather.
This V8 is a rare one, having been officially imported by Azabu Motors. The Aston Martin dealer's list book, owner's manual and wiring diagram that came with the car when it was new, as well as the Azabu Motors Japanese manual and car inspection booklet have all been carefully preserved.
It has only two owners so far and most of the maintenance history in the last 15 years is well documented.
The actual mileage has not reached 50,000 km, so both interior and exterior are in extremely good condition. The leather has an age-appropriate patina and you will experience the charm of being original. The top is electrically opened, so you can easily enjoy the fun of a convertible car. You may search all over the world, but it may be difficult to find a V8 that has been so lovingly cared for.
Front spoiler is the one for Vantage. (comes with original one as well)
