Fully restored.

After the legendary Rolls Royce Silver Ghost (1906-1926), a design which firmly established the company's reputation for producing the "the best car in the world", Rolls Royce produced the Phantom 1 (the "New Phantom"). It ran from 1926 to 1929. In 1929 a completely new model was introduced, the last of the 40/50HP cars, the Phantom 11.

The engine was a refined version of the New Phantom's 7.7 Litre unit, but now made use of a new crossflow cylinder head, and was bolted directly to the 4 speed transmission. The chassis was a brand new design with the rear axle mounted on semi-elliptical springs, which allowed the whole frame to be lowered, improving the handling and giving the coachbuilders the ability to design some stunning coachwork. Many of the world's most significant collections include a Phantom 11 in their inventory. 1681 Phantom 11 cars were produced.

This car was ordered as a Limousine de Ville with 6 seats on a long wheel base with a Victor Broom body for Lord Camrose of the Daily Telegraph. At some point the car received a coachwork change and now carries a very well executed and attractive Barker style barrel sided tourer body.

The history substantial file begins with many invoices for the general maintenance of the car. Jack Barclay Ltd. handled this car in 1973. A letter confirming this is contained within the file. The car had also been to Coldwell Engineering during 1989/1990 for some work on the car’s engine.

It was then sold to a major collector who kept it for nearly 30 years.

The chain of ownership has been pieced together from copies of log books and copies of the original Rolls Royce build sheets included in the history file. The car itself is in fantastic condition and has a well designed trunk to the rear with fitted suitcases.

This 1930 Rolls Royce Phantom II is presented in yellow with black wings, black leather interior and finished with a polished aluminium bonnet. It has an auster screen to the rear that can fold up and out to protect the rear seat passengers. Three pieces of luggage are neatly stored in the rear compartment and all the removable side windows are stored behind the rear seat when they are not needed. It is an original matching numbers chassis and engine.The chain of ownership is as follows.
