Beschreibung
This Dino was the 28th UK RHD M series car and was a Maranello factory demonstrator. In the same ownership since 1980, the car has rarely been used, indeed the MOT history shows that since 2006 the car has covered 531 miles, or 30 miles per year.
The owner acquired his Dino on the 3rd of April 1980. Shortly after his purchase, he went to work in Egypt from 1981 – 1987 and then onto Libya from 1987 – 1997 before moving to live in Malta from 1997 – 2002.
During this period, the car was stored in its centrally heated garage in the UK, hence its originality and low annual mileage in his ownership.
There is very limited history, in part due to the fact the car was not used, but also due to the failing memory and health of our customer.
This Dino has just been recommissioned at a cost of £13500 to include:
- Matching numbers check
- Recondition Steering Rack
- Recondition Brake Calipers
- Fir New Clutch cable
- Replace Cylinder Head Gaskets
- Recondition Alternator
Originally this Ferrari Dino was supplied in Giallo Fly, which was changed to Rosso Corsa by Nick Cartwright under the instruction of the present owner.
From our research, the car has never been restored, apart from some remedial work to its front bumpers (pitting), new headlamp bowls and new shock absorbers in 2015.
The car is in superb original condition with excellent panel fit. The car will be supplied with new period correct tyres.
