Following on from one of the brand’s most famous, loved, and customisable machines is no easy feat, especially when the original had remained relatively unchanged since 1979. Decades might have passed and performance might have tripled (along with the amount of chrome), but the core charm of the G-Wagon is still very much present with the new generation, which was met with incredible excitement in 2018. Since then, we’ve seen classy diesel variants, beefy 6x6 creations, a one-off inspired by the G-Wagon that started it all, and a fair few monsters pushing over 800 horsepower.
