Description

Based on the highly successful Fulvia Coupe, which was a worldwide success, the Fulvia Sport is styled by Ercole Spada, the designer behind Carrozzeria Zagato's golden era. Although it has the same substance as the coupé, the aerodynamic body shape and the lightweight aluminium body give the Fulvia Sport an announced top speed of 170 km/h.

The all-aluminium body was built from 1965 to 1967, with a steel body from 1968 onwards. Some 900 aluminium-bodied Sportts were produced, while only 202 1.2-litre aluminium-bodied cars were built. Another unique feature of the Fulvia Sport is the electrically operated retractable tailgate. This is the same mechanism as on the Alfa Romeo Junior Zagato, it opens automatically when a switch on the dashboard is pressed.

The vehicle is chassis number 1017, i.e. the 17th Fulvia Sport built. The current owner imported it from Italy six years ago and has participated in many events in Japan. It was restored in Italy and the body was repainted in the original colours. It is not in concours condition as it was owned to be ridden and enjoyed, not to be looked at, but it has just the right amount of wear and tear to allow you to relax and enjoy the ride. This car is recommended for those who are looking for a unique and one-of-a-kind coupe.
