There’s no arguing that the just-released Ferrari F80 is a marvel of mechanical engineering, but car enthusiasts across the globe are divided on the looks... and the engine for that matter. Some love it, some hate it, but one thing both groups can unanimously agree on is that there will never be a prancing horse quite as impactful as the legendary Enzo.
Any car named after il Commendatore needed to be special, especially at the dawn of the 2000s, when Ferrari was dominating Formula One with Michael Schumacher in the midst of a five-year string of Driver’s Championship wins. Thankfully, Maranello did not disappoint, and the Ken Okuyama-designed supercar dropped jaws around the world when it was announced at the 2002 Paris Motor Show.
Powered by the naturally-aspirated 6.0-litre Tipo F140 B V12 engine, the Enzo sent 660 horsepower to the rear wheels alone via a F1-style flappy paddle automated manual gearbox. The performance was mind-blowing back then, and it’s still impressive in 2024, rocketing up to 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds before maxing-out at 221 mph given enough space.
Today, the Enzo hasn’t aged a day, pulling just as hard on the heartstrings of any petrol head with a pulse as it did in 2002, and like all Ferraris, it looks even better when not painted in Rosso, as proven by this final-year 2004 Grigio Titanio example for sale with Schaltkulisse. One of just 400 ever made and only five in this colour, it’s twice as rare as the F80, and with a mere 17,633 km on the odemeter, it appears to have just rolled out of Maranello.
Boasting an impeccable service history, comprehensive documentation, two keys, and a full set of leather luggage, this is your chance to experience the archetypal Italian halo car!
