Within the automotive landscape, certain clubs exist depending on what you decide to spend your hard-earned cash on. Some are loyal member of the cult classics club, or our favourite, the Panda 4x4 gang, but FuoriConcorso’s latest rally celebrates pure speed, and more specifically, supercars capable of blitzing the 350 kph mark. From Bugatti to Ferrari, Pagani to Porsche, Italy’s Val d’Orcia region was the backdrop for this truly jaw-dropping lineup of speed demons.
While the vast open stretches of Germany’s Autobahn may have been better suited to letting these rockets reach their redlines, this breathtaking region of Italy allowed drivers to unwind and soak in the Tuscan air. Starting on March 27th, guests arrived at the Precise Tale Poggio alla Sala, nestled in the outskirts of the world-famous medieval town of Montepulciano, surrounded by unspoiled Tuscan nature, making it the perfect place to kick off FuoriConcorso’s festivities.
As faint rumbles of V12s could be heard it the distance, the extent of machines in attendance would quickly become clear, all of which surpass the golden 350 kph mark. A flurry of Bugattis slowly filled the grounds of the resort, including a Veyron Super Sport and Vitesse, as well as the fastest of all attendees, the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, capable of reaching a blistering 440 kmh. Elsewhere, some fittingly Italian flair was added to the fleet of French hypercars in the form of an outrageous metallic blue Ferrari Testarossa Koenig Evolution. Boasting 1,000 horsepower and able to reach over 370 kmh, this Koenig seemingly emerged from outer space back in 1987. Finally, the rally was complete with the addition of a Porsche 918 Spider, Koenigsegg CCX and the stunning Pagani Utopia.
While day one was spent relaxing and soaking in the chilled-out vibes of this exclusive event, the next day would see drivers head out onto the surrounding roads, with the first stop being the Abbey of Sant’Antimo for a photoshoot and guided tour, before heading out to Frescobaldi Tenuta Castelgiocondo to discover their wine cellar and a spot of lunch at the castle. Covering some 140 kilometres on the first day, drivers returned to base at Precise Tale Poggio alla Sala, ready for another full day of excursions on the Saturday.
Up bright at early, the rumble of engine notes rolled out in search of more dream-like pitstops, first heading to Asciano to experience the Crete Senesi on off-road quad bikes, before heading to Bagno Vignoni and then Vitaleta. The event concluded with a dinner at Le Logge del Vignola in Montepulciano, ending a truly unforgettable three day experience surrounded by some of the finest hypercars money can buy. We are already look forward to the next event, which has certainly got us excited to head to Lake Como ahead of FuoriConcorso’s upcoming event on 24th to 25th May 2025!
