Description
"Just right?" Introducing the Delta Integrale 8v.
The Integrale 8v's predecessor, the HF 4WD, finished 1-2 in the Monte Carlo Rally, the opening round of the 1987 WRC season. It won an exceptional record of nine victories out of a total of 13 rounds. The Integrale 8v was developed to take it to the next level: whereas the HF 4WD had been partially adapted from other cars due to lack of development time, the Integrale 8v, while based on the HF 4WD, was thoroughly revised in order to win more races in the real world. The differences at first glance can be seen in the front and rear fenders.
The most obvious difference at first glance is the front and rear wings, which protrude significantly. This increased the tread from 1409 mm to 1426 mm in the front and 1404 mm to 1406 mm in the rear, and the suspension arms were also changed. Maximum output was increased by 20 hp (production model) and a new Delta era began. The 4WD system is basically the same as the previous model, with Ferguson Viscous and Torsendiff distributing 56 to the front and 44 to the rear, giving a sense of constant roadholding and security. The system is designed to be used in a wide range of applications, including.
Is HF 4WD a bit weak or too powerful in EVO? If so, this is the perfect vehicle for you. The most obvious feature compared to the later 16v is the lack of a raised bonnet.
This car was imported from Italy a few years ago and sold by us. It was also a Delta owned by WRC champion Miki Biasion, who often used it for rally events. The car has been restored in Italy and the engine, transmission and suspension have been disassembled and restored, and the body has been repainted in the original colours. The Missoni fabric and Alcantara interior is in excellent condition. The Missoni seats are also in excellent condition against the Bianco body. The exterior emblems show some age-related deterioration, but there are no cracks in the plastics on the interior. It would be difficult to find another 8V in such good condition, inside and out, anywhere in the world. It is also a rare example with a sunroof. Enjoy the Delta life, whether for everyday use or for events.
