Our car is a very desireable European delivered example which is presented in impressively good condition and finished today in the very elegant colour combination of Blu Scuro Metallizzato paint on the exterior over a Beige leather interior.
The car has been built in September 1963 and was delivered new to its first owner in Paris, France via Franco Britannic Autos LTD, who was the official dealership back then. This car spent the majority of its existence in France where the car was located between 1963 until 2000. During this period, the car has had at least three different owners in France. In the year 2000, the engine has been rebuilt by Garage Bouzignac, which was later known as Atelier ALS, based in Beauzelle, France. In 2004 the car has been owned by Michel Delbreil-Bergès who was also domiciled in France. During his ownership the car has been painted in a dark red metallic colour with beige leather interior. He registered the car on French license plates “172-CS-09”. In the same year between April 19 and April 24 the car has been entered with start number #223 in the Tour Auto Lissac by Delbreil Bergès who participated in the event with his co-driver Carite competing in the regularity class where they were able to achieve the following results:

In September 2004 the car has been advertised for sale by Car Classic Geneva, Switzerland with an asking price of € 225,000. The following February during the Retromobile 2005 in Paris the car was displayed on the stand of Domonique Bardini. In 2006 the car was for offered for sale at Garage du Lac Crescia SA in St. Blaise, Switzerland by Vincent Crescia. In the same year the car has been sold to Carlo Perego from Le Mont-sur-Lausanne who had the car registered on Swiss license plates of the canton Vaud “VD-139839”.
During his ownership the car has been fully restored and documented. The car has also been repainted Blu Scuro again with a beige leather interior. After the restoration has been finished the car received its official Ferrari Classiche certification by the factory which was issued on the 23rd of April 2008.
In October 2011 the car has been advertised for sale by Perego with an official asking price of 800,000 Swiss Francs. In December 2011 the current owner bought the car via Niki Hasler AG who assisted him with the purchase. During his ownership the car has been regularly used which is evident through the participation in several events and therefore it has also been maintained on a regular basis by the workshops of Niki Hasler AG, Engelbert E. Stieger AG as well as scuderia67 GmbH who are all well known for their expertise in classic Ferrari models. Over the years more than 100,000 Swiss francs were spent by the current owner on servicing the car.
Today the car - which is the 102nd of 350 examples built - presents itself as a driver’s car in solid running condition. There are a few cosmetically and mechanically aspects of the car which need some further attention. The 250 GT/L Lusso is currently Swiss registered with Swiss tax status. This specific car offers the rare opportunity for those who are not looking for an over-restored car which is in like new condition but much rather do prefer a car which can be used regularly without worrying about putting mileage on the car.
