The Andersen Motor Company from Liverpool developed the AMC Cub - a microcar inspired by the famous Mini Moke. The car could be supplied either as a kit or fully assembled vehicle. The AMC Cub was developed as an all-metal summer microcar with an open-top. It could easily be fitted with a soft top or detachable hardtop. Unlike modern mass-produced vehicles, the Cub was based on an immensely strong box section welded chassis. Available as a two or four seat model and in a wide range of colours, the AMC Cub was based on original Rover Mini suspension, brakes and running gear with disc brakes to the front and drums to the rear.

Registered on 6th October 1987 as the donor car, an Austin Mini Mayfair, this AMC Cub boasts a 998cc engine making it light and very nippy. It is described as the most incredible fun to drive by our vendor. Presented in fashionable Khaki Green with new brown leather seats which are complemented by a Mota-Lita style wood and alloy steering wheel and alloy wheels fitted with brand new Yokohama tyres. Supplied with a 12-month MoT test certificate and recently serviced, this car is ready for some serious summer cruising. Contained within the history file is the original sales livery and brochure including an extract from Kit Car magazine in 1985, numerous invoices from Mini Spares and various other specialists relating to maintenance since its build and a V5 registration certificate.
