This 1982 Aston Martin V8 Volante ‘Oscar India’ was supplied to its first owner on the 2nd May 1983 in Houston Texas. It remained in his possession for most of its life. In 2011 the Aston landed up in Belgium via Germany. The denotation ‘Oscar India’ indicates the rare Volante (convertible) with four Weber carburettors and a lovely low bonnet. The excellent maintenance history has left this Aston in fine fettle. The carburettors have been overhauled. The good quality bodywork is straight. The seams of body panels fit together and onto the other bodywork parts, particularly well. The original underbody is completely rust free. It has the original ‘Canterbury Blue’ with a ‘Natural’ leather interior trim, carpets and hood. The car has its original, matching numbers, V8 4-carburettor engine. The factory build sheet, the Car Record Card confirms all the relevant numbers. It has factory fitted luxury accessories including aircon and electric operated hood.
