Marc Phillipp Gemballa’s Marsiens have officially landed

If you’ve ever found yourself wanting a supercar capable of tackling the sharpest turns and the longest straights, while also taking the muddiest terrain imaginable in its stride, Marc Phillipp Gemballa’s Marsien is your ticket to motoring freedom…

It seems like yesterday that we first saw the other-worldly footage of Marc Philipp Gemballa and his team tackling bitterly cold -20 degrees Celsius conditions in Scandinavia, then moving on to Sölden in Austria to scale an almost-impossible glacier, only to return and head straight to Germany’s Nordschleife, covering 3,000 km with complete ease. After intense testing, developing and innovating, the Marsien is now ready for 40 lucky clients to experience.

This all-terrain supercar takes its name from a moment during testing in the scorching Al-Faya desert, where the red sand combined with the unparalleled mountain landscape took the test team’s breath away. “We felt like we were on Mars,” Marc Philipp Gemballa recalls. Having a car capable of reaching such jaw-dropping locations is perhaps the Marsien’s biggest selling point, combining off-road capability in a package that is also suitable for everyday use. Overflowing with technology, the Marsien is elegant, focused, and futuristic in appearance, and yet completely functional and robust for whatever landscape you might find yourself on.

Designed by French Porsche aficionado Alan Derosier, Marc Phillipp Gemballa’s Marsien isn’t just a supercar for on and off the road, but a symphony of carbon fibre constructed with painstaking attention to detail. The exterior is made entirely of carbon fibre, consisting of more than 85 individual carbon components including the air channels, wing mirrors, wheel arch liners and a rear panel that stretches all the way from the A-pillar to the rear wing. Under the gorgeous bodywork, the Marsian features a completely bespoke double wishbone suspension setup developed by the engineers responsible for countless rally, GT and special series suspensions. This complex system consists of more than 30 individual components milled from solid aluminium, marking significant changes to the chassis of the base 911 Turbo S, with KW Automotive solid piston dampers allowing drivers complete control over varying terrain.

Marc Phillipp Gemballa’s Marsiens may feature design flair straight from Mars, but of the 40 examples that are now under production, each model is a true one-of-one, designed and built to their new owners’ dream specifications. The team openly encourages even the most outlandish desires, from creating an one-off exterior shades to badges finished in 24 carat gold, or bespoke interiors clad with the finest selection of materials in the world.

After years of hard work, the result is an ultra-modern, yet timeless supercar powered by cutting-edge technology and over 830 horsepower with enhanced VTG turbo chargers and a revised ECU mapping and transmission setup. The client book is already bursting at the seams, and we’re more than eager to see the 40 examples safely land on Earth in what we expect will be the craziest specifications ever!
