Beschreibung
Registration number: AR-27-39
We have a very beautiful Steel Blue Metallic 1972 Volvo P1800E on offer. Owned by the same owner the car has been in the Netherlands since 2008. The "E" in P1800E indicates that this is a car with fuel injection. The engine is equipped with Bosch D-jetronic fuel injection, delivering 130 hp. The car is equipped with disc brakes all around, ensuring it comes to a stop in a timely manner.
This Volvo was fully restored in the past and has been well-maintained with us at the Gallery from 2008 to 2024. We have mileage records. The car has purely been used as a hobby and as such is still in very good condition. The bodywork been well looked after, with thin and neatly fitting panels. The decorative strips on the body and the bumpers are also well-maintained and in good condition. The paint was completely reapplied during the restoration and is still in good condition. The car is on the original steel wheels with the original hubcaps and good correctly sized tyres.
The interior is also up to scratch The black leather on the seats has developed a very fine patina and still feels wonderfully supple. The brown carpets are in a used condition but fit neatly everywhere and are in good condition. The instruments and controls are all in good condition and function as they should.
Mechanically the car has been completely restored and therefore works excellently. The engine is coupled to a manual transmission with four gears and overdrive. The fuel-injected engine runs beautifully, and the transmission shifts precisely. The overdrive makes covering long distances a remarkably easy task. From the first moments, it is easy to understand why the Volvo P1800E still has such a large fan base. The car looks beautiful, drives wonderfully, and features practically indestructible technology. The brakes and the chassis of this specimen are in good condition, significantly contributing to the car’s pleasant handling.
The Volvo comes with the original Swiss "exhaust gas maintenance document." In short, it is a beautifully maintained and top-restored Volvo P1800E that is in very good condition both visually and technically and still looks stunning.
