This car is a first-generation C-Class, which still has some cool characteristics of the 190E, such as the gauges and the sheer wooden dashboard with its rotating climate-control knobs. In spite of its difficult task of being the successor to the successful and iconic 190E, it was also very successful itself as more than 1.8 million of these cars were sold. It also drives exceptionally well and on motorways the wind does not cause much noise inside the car.
Some saloons from the 1990s were regarded as somewhat 'tacky' for some time, even though these were the best-driving cars of all. Many of these cars have disappeared from the streets in the past few years. It was often a case of having a big car but then not being able to maintain it.

Meanwhile, the first C-Class series is drying really well. The well-kept cars are the ones that remain and by now, this model is becoming a true 1990s time capsule; even more so since it has AMG rims from those very days as well as a period-correct Rieger rear-window spoiler (which can always be removed later, but I thought it looked rather good).

This is a very well-kept car which only has minimal signs of wear. The interior is truly as good as new. There are almost no blemished to be found at all (only a small dent near the glove compartment). The outside is strikingly beautiful as well and there are only minimal signs of wear. If you examine the car with an extremely critical eye, the only things you will find are a minor streak/scratch on the right side of the rear bumper strip and a spot with some road rash at the front. All doors are extremely hard, as is the rest of the car. And it is still wonderful to drive. The car has a low mileage of 79,841 km, which has been confirmed by the NAP (national car pass).
