Launched in 2002 the 575 ‘Modificata’ Maranello was essentially an updated 550. These updates and improvements included a redesigned interior and enhanced mechanics. It is fitted with bigger brake discs, a larger more powerful engine, improved weight distribution, refined aerodynamics and an adaptive suspension set up. Two six-speed transmissions were available, a conventional manual gearbox and, for the first time on a Ferrari V12, a semi-automatic ‘F1’gearbox.
This Ferrari was originally manufactured for the German market and was imported into the UK in 2013. A great specification adorns this 575 including Fiorano Handling Pack, carbon bucket seats with four point harness seat belts, Fuchs sports exhaust system, and sound pack with upgraded speakers. Of the 2056 examples produced, only 246 featured the more desirable manual transmission, and 182 of those, of which LE02 YHS is one, were lefthand drive. Supplied with a V5C registration document, a full year’s MoT test certificate and the original book pack including a well stamped service book.
