Remarkably, the original filter was in near-new condition, perfectly in line with the car’s ultra-low mileage. The 850 T-5R was a groundbreaking vehicle for Volvo, developed in collaboration with Porsche. It featured a specially tuned B5234T5 engine producing 243 hp, paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Porsche also contributed to the transmission tuning and interior design, including the Alcantara seat inserts. Despite its understated boxy design, the T-5R was a true sleeper, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds, with a drag coefficient of only 0.29.
