The car was built by me personally in years of manual work almost exclusively with new parts. Countless photos prove just as many work steps.

The Beetle-based buggy, of course certified by Winnie Meyers, the wife of the inventor of the Dune buggy, Bruce Meyers, is currently powered by a 1.6-litre boxer with 95 hp from Subaru, which can easily be exchanged for an "original" Beetle engine with 44 hp or something else air-cooled.

In Europe only a few Meyers Manxter 2+2 are approved, in Germany there is only this one with Subaru technology. The current manufacturer of Meyers buggies in California is currently offering the last 12 original Manxter kits.
