The style of the Diablo Roadster VT is one of the purest Lamborghini designs among Marcello Gandini's legendary creations. There have been several attempts to build open cars in Lamborghini's acclaimed history. Although these models were very well received by both the global motoring public and the press, they never went into production. However, for the first time in Automobili Lamborghini's 32-year history, a world-class open car came out of Sant'Agata, Italy. The introduction of the Lamborghini Diablo Roadster VT set an undeniable new benchmark for open driving.
Our 1999 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster was originally delivered by Lamborghini Affolter in Porrentruy, Switzerland, to its first owner, Zhilina Margarita. She ordered the car in the stunning Blu Chiaro color, which remains 100% original to this day, paired with a beautiful beige interior. The car was in her possession for 13 years, during which time it was serviced at the dealership where she had purchased it, although judging by the mileage, she hardly ever drove the car. Remarkably, she eventually sold the car to Roland Affolter himself, who registered the car in his own name. Two years later, Roland sold the car to a Belgian named Pierre Van Meenen, residing in Brakel, Belgium. A significant advantage was that the purchase was made through the official Lamborghini dealer, which guaranteed the mileage. According to the properly stamped service booklet, the car was serviced again by Lamborghini Affolter about two months after the purchase. On March 23, 2014, the odometer read only 3,543 km. After exactly eight years in Pierre's possession, and only 24 kilometers after the last service, the car was sold to the last Belgian owner, with just 3,567 kilometers on the odometer. This owner had a collection of top-class cars but unfortunately could no longer drive his manual sports cars due to health issues. At present, the car still has only 3,990 kilometers on the odometer, which naturally means that the extremely low mileage is accompanied by a car that still looks as if it just rolled out of the factory.
The car comes with the full documentation set:
- Original Lamborghini storage bag for the booklets

- Complete set of two keys
