Beschreibung
This E Type is one that doesn’t cross our path every day! How often does it happen that we are able to get our hands on an unrestored manual shift V12 roadster that is so super original that it is virtually all around in the first paint, matching numbers, and still has the first interior. It’s a first for us at least.
Chassis number 22334 was sold new through Jaguar New York to its first owner in Arizona in June 1973. As early as 1983, the car was sold to a Belgian owner, from whom we were able to acquire it. After keeping it for 10 years, the car was presented for Belgian registration in 1993 and a Belgian license plate was obtained. The car was used only a few times and then always remained in the owner’s collection. This explains the incredibly good condition of the Jaguar. The body, except for the tailgate, is in the first paint and has little or no rust or filler. Under the bonnet there is even still the original British-Leyland sticker. In the interior it is already exactly the same, everything original and untouched. Because the E type has been sitting for longer periode of time, the engine is currently not running, but turns freely by hand.
You can appreciate this car in two ways, as a perfect base for a simple restoration. Or alternatively, just overhaul the technology and leave the car original as it is now. Should a new owner not have the opportunity to do that, we can take care of the total job either way. We will gladly tell you about all the possibilities if you decide to visit us.
