The Mini, introduced in 1959, was an absolute milestone in automotive history. No wonder therefore, that the revolutionary little car was assembled not only by BMC in the UK but built under license also in Italy, Spain and Portugal. The example offered is an Italian Innocenti variant and was first registered in Italy in 1967. A few years ago, the little rocket was imported into Switzerland and registered locally. On registration, the engine capacity was erroneously listed as 998cc (Cooper) instead of the correct 848cc (Minor). The Mini was then presented as a wedding gift to a happy Newlyweds. Due to personal changes in the family, the couple sold the Mini to the vendor in 2021. He had the engine completely overhauled in June of the same year - with corresponding receipts available. Since then, due to ill health of the owner, the pretty Anglo-Italian has seen only around 200 kilometres. Currently the Mini is in good to very good condition and will be handed over to the next enthusiast with a Veteran MOT completed in April 2022.
