Beschreibung
Fiat 2300 S design by Ghia and powered by a 6-cylinder engine designed by Aurelio Lampredi, former Ferrari engineer, and improved upon in this "S" version by Abarth with an intake with two Weber carburettors.
The car has been restored few years ago by an important Monaco-based collector, who had the good taste to keep the original interior: the black upholstery is impeccable, as are the door panels and the dashboard in wood and sheet metal. The bodywork is in very good condition, and the chrome elegantly enhances the white paint of this sober design. A major overhaul was carried out, during which carburetion, ignition and braking were the focus of attention.
This car has the same color combination of the one used in the famous Italian movie "Il Sorpasso" where a white Fiat 2300 S Coupe is the protagonist of the final and fatal duel with the Lancia Aurelia B24 driven by Vittorio Gassman.
