Completed on July 15th 1965 with Blu paintwork and Pelle Blue interior with Borrani wire wheels, the car was delivered that month to Maranello Concessionaires MC order #176. In August the car was registered KGH 9D and delivered to R.S Mead of Maidenhead. On January 19th 1967 the car was acquired by R.G Cobden from London who part exchanged an early E-type Jaguar. The next owner was R.J Cornhill of Bakewell, Derbyshire who retained the car till the mid-1980's. The car featured in his ownership in Godfrey Eaton's book - The Complete Ferrari - published in 1985.

In 1990 the car was advertised by dealer Michael Fisher and the car was subsequently owned by the Roy Scott Trust along with a 250 Lusso and 500 Superfast. The car ended up with serial enthusiast and collector - Mr Peter Lloyd of London in 1994 who then sent the car to Maranello Concessionaires for a comprehensive restoration. Lloyd was an active member of the Ferrari Owners Club. After a brief period overseas in Europe the car ended up with enthusiast Michael Pearson - aka Lord Cowdray - before going off to the US to be displayed as part of the Blackhawk Musuem. Don Williams of Blackhawk put the car back up for sale in August 2005 whereupon it was acquired by UK dealer Paul Osborn, who in 2006 sold it to banker Gordon McCulloch.

Since 2006, maintenance of #07153 has been predominantly entrusted to marque specialist Bob Houghton who carried out a complete engine rebuild in 2008. Numerous invoices for his work are on file, with the latest being an annual service in February 2018 which also included the fitment of four new tyres. In 2009 the car was registered to Robert Wilson of Burford who a year later sold the car to Nick Pink of Penshurst. In 2010, #07153 attained Ferrari Classiche certification, confirming that it retains its original chassis, engine, gearbox, and bodywork. More recently, the interior has been retrimmed in red leather, lending a more sophisticated and characterful appearance to the car.

In 2015 ownership of the car transferred to major car collector and Tetra Pak boss - the late Jorn Rausing of Ascot - who continued to have the car maintained by Bob Houghton. In 2018 it was sold to Christopher Vincent of Woking who kept the car till 2022 wherupon it was sold to it's last owner in Essex.

The car was exhibited at Salon Prive in 2021 where complete the tour and was voted the most elegant car. Today, #07153 is in superb condition with full Red Book Classiche certification and with it's great history and supremely elegant colour scheme, presents as a specimen example of an original 275 GTS ready for new adventures.
