Beschreibung
Offered for sale my 1965 Citroen DS19 Pallas spec car with semi-automatic gearshift.
Imported by me in 2012 from South West region of France, the car was in the same family from new with initial owner "Grandad" 1965 - mid 80s, and then "Dad" until his passing in 2012.
I have lavished upon the car what can only be described as a full and complete restoration at the hands of Pallas Auto in Kent between 2018 and 2020.
Retrimmed leather interior in correct colours from factory (black seats, grey carpets), new floor, new lines, refurbished hydraulics and brake system, engine out full seals service in 2020. Literally reams of paperwork and in excess £35k spent. This car is as good as you will find and far better than a lower miles, unrestored or under maintained car. This car has had everything that needs doing done. This is an unusual spec and not many of them come available for sale. The last auction in Holland in September 2022 for an equivalent spec car resulted in a hammer price of over 75, 000 euros.
A respray in 2014 in original factory colour combination of AC411 Rouge Carmine, Roof AC144 Blanc Carrare to bring the car to it's original configuration once and for all. The paint could honestly do with some love as there are some micro-bubbling evident which whilst perfectly liveable, the perfectionist may want rectified. That opens up the options for alternative colours. I kept the interior original (black with grey) which lends itself nicely to any colour configuration.
The car is stored in a ventilated Carcoon all year round and hasn't seen rain and certainly no grit.
Fitted with a Brantz rallytimer (retro trip - driven off the odometer cable), it's ready for some timed events or just to be enjoyed for what it is - a beautiful example of a very rare configuration car, a very early DS19.
The car had an engine out oil leak rectify service done in 2020. It wants for nothing.
The car needs to be seen to be appreciated.
