A legendary car

February 1976 saw the launch of the CX Prestige, based on the estate car chassis. Unlike its predecessor, the DS, this time Citroën created a genuine limousine, 25 cm longer. Production was entrusted to Heuliez, which was in a better position than Chapron, which was in difficulty at the time.
At the start of the 1977 academic year, the Prestige was fitted with a raised roof to ensure greater comfort on board. President Giscard D'Estaing was one of its first customers.
As the Cx evolved, the Prestige was equipped with the best engines in the range.
When the GTI Turbo appeared in 1984, it was only natural that the Prestige should be fitted with this engine.
The car we are presenting to you was delivered new in France in November 1985. Equipped with velour upholstery, this car is in generally good condition. Regularly serviced by the DS Répar specialist, it works as it should and has just been serviced.
Although in the shadow of the Turbo 2, the Turbo is rare on today's market and offers performances close to those of its younger sibling.
