On September 12, 1980, Citroën's public relations department announced the limited edition “2CV Charleston” with a flurry of press releases and press conferences. On the stand at the Paris Motor Show, Citroën exhibited a number of models wearing very short dresses and boyish hairstyles, perfectly symbolizing the spirit of the “Charleston” era.
The example we are offering has only 33,000 km on the clock and has been in the same family since new. Delivered new to the uncle of the current owner on December 31, 1986, by the agent DELUC Cie in Trélissac, in the Dordogne, it was regularly maintained in the Citroën network until it reached 25,000 km, as confirmed by its maintenance log. Then it was put into storage in 2015 with a total of 33,000 km.
Accompanied by its original logbooks, accessories and booklets, this beautiful 2CV Charleston is a real time machine, preserved in a remarkably original condition.
