The car was also fitted with a special 7 speed dual clutch system allowing gear change to be made via the specially constructed magnesium paddles in less than 150 milliseconds, with so much power being sent to the wheels, Bugatti had to have special tyres made for the Veyron. The Veyron was an engineering masterpiece and set a new benchmark of what a supercar should be.
