Full ground up restoration

The Mini was made by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and its successors from 1959 until 2000. The original is considered a British icon of the 1960s and its space-saving front-wheel drive layout, allowing 80% of the area of the car's floorpan to be used for passengers and luggage, influenced a generation of car makers. The Mini Mk. I had three major UK updates; the Mk. II, the Clubman and the Mk. III. Within these were a series of variations including an estate car, a pick-up and a van. The Mini Cooper and Cooper 'S' were sportier versions that were successful as rally cars winning the Monte Carlo Rally four times from 1964 through to 1967.

This stunning example supplied new by Page Motors Leatherhead, Surrey on 20th June 1980 is presented in yellow. Supplied with the original purchase invoice for a grand total of £3,953.39 by a Mr Maynard who owned the car for some 36 years selling to the second owner in 2016 who decided upon a ground up restoration. Importantly retaining its original body shell, the restoration included a full engine rebuild. Supplied with the car is the original sales order, two old style V5's, original driver's handbook, passport to service and 16 old MoTs dating back to 1984 to verify the low mileage. A fantastic opportunity to own a low mileage, low owner fully restored example. Consigned by Mathew Priddy
