This Aston Martin DBS V8 Mark I Series 2 left the factory in 1972 as a left-hand drive in Ascot Grey colour and black interior. Delivered new in July 1972 to the Mertz & Pabst dealership in Germany, it was fitted with various options such as its injection system, automatic gearbox, AM/FM stereo radio, air conditioning and fog lights, all for a price of £5,781 brand new. As attested by the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust issued in February 2003, it has its original engine.
Our DBS stood out from the crowd in Finland after winning 3rd place at the 2002 Classic Sportscar Concours d'Elegance in Kakskerta with its Finnish number plate AMV-8, documented by AM Magazine in the autumn of 2002. In March 2017, this Aston Martin moved to Belgium, where it benefited from numerous works in order to make it more reliable and improve its driving experience. Finally, it went to France with a member of the Trigano family in November 2018, before being acquired by our French collector in February 2022.
It has a mileage of 75,524 km and is in very enjoyable condition. Sold for more than a Ferrari Daytona at that time, along with a clear history, a mileage of only 75,524 km and in very good condition, this beautiful example is sure to attract the attention of many enthusiasts.
