The car in our sale is the top of the range, with the most powerful engine available (5.6 litre rated at 300 bhp), traction control system and self-levelling of the rear suspension. Highly prized at the time by celebrities, it remains one of the best coupés ever produced by Mercedes. Originally sold in Germany, this coupé was acquired in 2006 by the current owner with 165 000 km on the odometer. A new engine was then fitted and about 20 000 kms have since been covered. The car, which has leather upholstery with a nice patina, a sunroof and Lorinser alloy wheels, is in very good condition except for slight play in the front suspension, which is easy to correct.
