Offered here is a truly once-in-a-lifetime find—a 1986 Mini Austin Mayfair with just 94 km from new. That’s right: ninety-four. This isn’t just a car; it’s a time capsule, preserved for nearly four decades in showroom condition. Finding a delivery-mileage Mini from this era is almost unheard of.
Finished in the beautifull Moonraker Blue with an elegant Ice Blue hide interior, this Mayfair oozes charm and originality. As the luxury variant of the classic Mini, the Mayfair added refinement to one of Britain’s most iconic automotive designs.
Under the bonnet, you’ll find the spirited 998cc A-series engine, delivering 40hp through a manual gearbox—more than enough to make the most of its feathery 640kg curb weight. Agile, fun, and packed with personality, the Mini made a name for itself on city streets and international rally stages alike.
Whether you're a collector looking for the ultimate conversation piece or a purist chasing the essence of British motoring history, this delivery-kilometer Mini Mayfair stands as one of the purest examples left on the planet.
"This is a kind of unique car. A well-known architect in our region of Italy, and very passionate about cars, bought this Mini in 1986 and always kept the car as part of his collection. He bought in fact another Mini and other cars during the 70 - 80ies.
Unfortunately, he discovered an unmerciful disease: the diabetes. Due to this serious illness, he lost a leg and could not drive the manual cars of his collection. However, he was very jealous and kept them with care. Once passed away in 2015, his wife inherited all his property, including the cars collection.
Some years later, she was old too and decided to sell the cars (in fact, we bought a BMW Z3 with 2.000Km: that’s why the car is basically brand new, even after 35 years."
"Stated by the italian seller in November 2021"
