This left-hand drive MGA, equipped with wire wheels, was delivered new to the USA and imported into Switzerland probably in the mid-90s. After two changes of ownership in 2002 and 2004, the roadster was taken over by the vendor in October 2019. She immediately decided to restore the coachwork which had some issues and have it repainted. In order to match the interior with the new exterior new carpets were installed and the seats reupholstered and recovered. The technical side was not neglected either and the brakes were overhauled together with the ignition and a new Dynamo was installed. After only around 1’000 kilometres the MG was stored due to lack of time and was not driven for quite some time. In 2024 the cool little Brit received a new water pump, the rear axle was re-sealed and the rear brake shoes were replaced. Numerous receipts since 1997 are available and will be delivered with the car. Today the roadster presents itself in good to very good condition and will be handed over to a new owner with the latest veteran MOT from September 2024. The new owner should plan to replace the clutch in the medium term.
