Description

Prototype of the legendary first Italian Gran Turismo car, which belonged to Count Aymo Maggi, creator and co-founder of the 1000 Miglia, and delivered to him in Brescia on 28 April 1951, the day of the start of the XVIII edition of the 1000 Miglia, just in time to allow Count Castelbarco, a fraternal friend of Maggi, to take the start at the wheel of this Aurelia B20. The first of only two examples made by Ghia, this very important car has a documented history that certifies its status as a prototype of the Lancia Aurelia B20. The last owner in Turin has kept it for the last forty years, keeping it in perfect working order.
