Description
This beautiful and extremely well-driving Golf 1.6 with 74 kW (which equals 100 hp) is wonderful in the winter with its electrically operated roof and heated leather seats. And when the weather gets nice and sunny, the roof comes off at the push of a button, fully automatically. And of course, it is just as easy to put it back on again. This model is referred to as Golf Mk3.5 (3½) because it basically is a Golf Mk3, but it features the technology and innovations of a Golf Mk4; integrated front fog lights, an electrically insulated bonnet, seat heating, a board computer, the 1.6 L engine with 100 hp which was new at the time, and more.
It is still a marvellous car to see and it has become a fun modern classic which still attracts just as much attention and is still just as wonderful to drive as when it was new. It has always been properly maintained and the original maintenance booklets are available as well. There are some signs of wear. Please have a look at the photos.
The car was delivered new in the Germany and has had a Dutch registration number since 2006. If desired, EU export papers can be supplied free of charge, so a possible foreign new owner can register the convertible in another country without any trouble.
The interior looks tidy and has a few signs of wear. Everything works as it should. Another important thing is that the electro-hydraulic roof works perfectly. The bonnet is neat. It is a bonnet of the second type, which is the insulated version. The car drives just fine; there is nothing special to say about it, except maybe that there is some minor rattling in the exhaust.
In short, this is a wonderful modern classic which drives just fine and has lots of appeal at an affordable price.
The car is located in Hengevelde, the Netherlands, and can be used straight away.
For Dutch bidders:
The car is located in Hengevelde, the Netherlands, which is also where it can be picked up. The car can be delivered at an additional charge of €150 (delivery to the Wadden Islands is not possible).
The seller can have the car delivered throughout the entire EU by a professional transporter for a relatively low price.
Good condition: visible signs of wear and general ageing
