Engine: 1600 cc AJ engine (injection, twin port, 50 HP)
Gearbox: manual, 4 gears
Kilometers: 96295 miles on the counter
The car was delivered new in Los Angeles. It was purchased and registered in Belgium in 2006.

There are no holes or tears in the top.
The door panels and upholstery are still original and in very good condition. There is an extra (original VW) steering wheel that comes with the car.
The body/paint is in very good condition. There was a bump in the front right wheel arch, but we had this repaired and it is repainted.
The bottom is steel hard.
The engine always starts immediately and responds well. The compression is good and there is no axial play.

The car was last inspected in Belgium on 15/07/2022.

There is a crack in the center of the windshield. You can hardly see it in the photos. If you find this disturbing, you can easily replace it yourself and you can buy a new window for 130 euros.
There are some small rust blisters under the paint on the left headlight.
