Subaru's success in the Rally stages is historically linked to Prodrive. The English company has been preparing rally cars since 1984 and is a regular presence on motorsports podiums.

In the 1990s and 2000s, Subarus prepared by Prodrive delighted rally fans, with Colin McRae, Richard Burns and Peter Solberg, among others, winning stages and titles at the wheel of the Japanese model.

This GC8 was developed by Prodrive to compete in Group N, it carries number 2000.022 and has raced in the British National Rally from 2002 to 2007.

Based on the classic two-door body, it is still equipped with all the original parts, including the Prodrive engine and ECU, Hewland gearbox, fully adjustable Ohlins suspension, Prodrive fuel cell and two sets of Speedline wheels.

Prodrive buckets, cockpit and engine extinguishing system and Coralba tripmeter are installed on board.

With very few rallys done, this is an excellent piece of motorsport history, ideal for collectors or for anyone who wants to do sprint rallies or track days. Comes with MSA technical passport and homologation sheet.
