This rare Rover P6 3500 S - only 2’464 examples with a 4-speed manual gearbox and left-hand drive were constructed - was delivered most probably to Austria and registered there for the first time in October 1974. Sometime later the well-known problem of the rather fragile standard gearbox was addressed by installing a 5-speed unit from a later SD1. In 2018 the saloon was taken over by the vendor, imported into Switzerland and added to his little collection. He used the Rover often and with great enthusiasm but, due to lack of space, now has decided to sell his very rare Brit. The P6 is in good mechanical condition and the interior presents itself in good shape with age correct signs of use. The coachwork shows some areas of corrosion which should be addressed in the near future. The last veteran MOT was completed in April 2024.
