Description
"One mans vision of the future!"
A well known entrepreneur/ car collector based in London became bored of the Rolls Royce Model range in 2001 and was determined to design his own exciting Rolls Royces.
He commissioned DC design in Mumbai (designer of the Aston Martin Vanquish) to build 2 very unique cars based upon the floor plan of his 1987 Rolls Royce Silver Spirits, one was to be a 2 door coupe and the other a 2 door fast back (the latter registered as CEX 1 often wrongly publicised as being owned by the Sultan of Brunei).
The Silver Spirits were shipped to India and eventually both designs were agreed, this the Silver Spectre was highly involved in influencing the design of of the "New Phantom" which was was later launched in 2004.
The finished cars (which had cost in excess of £1m) were delivered to London in 2003. The owner then moved his business headquarters to Dubai and took the cars with him.
The Silver Spectre was exhibited at the annual Emirates classic car festival and received great accolade.
Finished in Diamond Black over Pearl Red, the Silver Spectre Interior features White hide complemented with Teak Decking and Aluminium to create the environment of a Super Yacht again a feature that is used in todays Phantom convertible. Unique Alloy wheels were designed too and xenon lights were chosen to light the Road ahead.
