Description

Rolls-Royce Phantom II does not need a big introduction. It is an exceptional car and successor to the Phantom I model, replacing the New Phantom in 1929. It uses an improved version of 7.7 liter straight 6 from its predecessor in an all-new chassis.

Our Phantom II is a rare example of an All-Weather Tourer built by T. H. Gill & Son according a design under the licence of Parisien coach builder Hibbard & Darrin. GY49 was originally delivered to Thrupp & Maberly in September 1930, to be fitted with a Fixed-Head Sedanca de Ville body, to the order of Rolls-Royce company for 1930 Berlin Motor Show. The company subsequently removed the original Thrupp & Maberly body and fitted chassis with new elegant All-Weather Tourer, which it retains to this day, delivered to its first owner in 1932.

We believe it is one of the most beautiful Phantom II ever built. The quality of the restoration is exceptional and its detachable glass B-pillars or folding roof, which after being folded, is not disturbing the sports line of the car absolutely, are all sweet details
