The Renault Twingo, which first appeared at the 1992 Paris Motor Show, needs no introduction.
Although recently discontinued, the Twingo was a huge success, so much so that today almost every Frenchman has ridden in one of the 4,000,000 cars produced.
A truly popular car, it has appealed to all classes of society, right up to the biggest movie stars.
On 24 October 2013, Jean Paul Belmondo took delivery of his latest car, this Twingo, at the Renault Rive Gauche dealership on Boulevard Raspail in Paris. Adapted to his disability, this Twingo is the top of the range automatic gearbox.
He used it regularly in Paris until the end of his life, driving it for almost 31,000 km.
Today, the car is still registered in Jean-Paul Belmondo's name and is in good condition. As Bebel's last vehicle, this Twingo is a real collector's item that should be preserved.
