EXTERIOR
Finished in a brilliant coat of the magnificently named ‘Deep Black Metallic Illusion’ this R26 is unmistakable at a glance; with its F1 team vinyl pack and rear quarter window FiA badging making it immediately clear this is no run of the mill family hatchback. Complimenting the sinister paintwork is a set of Anthracite alloy wheels, Renault Sport chrome badging to rear and the model specific dual chrome exhaust tips.

Overall condition of the car is very good, with nothing more than a handful of light stone chips at the front end of the car to note.

INTERIOR
The figure hugging Recaro seats offer supreme support without compromise, in excellent condition showing factory shape and contour they proudly show the F1 team R26 nomenclature and number on the seat side mounts. Climate and Cruise Control are welcome additions with another bespoke plaque positioned neatly behind the innovative handbrake handle.

The cabin space has been preserved very well with Renault Sport mats showing tidy and clean alongside a rear bench that looks to have had very little, if any, use as well as a boot area that looks factory fresh.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Featuring an uprated 2.0L turbocharged 16 valve, 4 cylinder engine the F1 certainly packs a punch when on the road or track. Acceleration is extremely impressive and with minimal turbo-lag the R26 is propelled from 0-60 in just 5.9 seconds; further harnessed by a limited-slip differential to ensure maximum control.

The last cambelt service was carried out in June 2020 at 24,462 miles. Other significant mechanical repairs, aside from routine servicing, includes a replacement engine mount and sump gasket in 2021 followed by a new exhaust mount in April of 2024.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Setting the purposeful stance of the R26 a set of 18 inch Anthracite alloys present in excellent condition, free from any signs of curbing, and are wrapped in a matching set of high performance Michelin Pilot Sport 5’s.

Brakes show in good order all around, with the ever popular 4 pot Brembo discs and callipers to the front.

The key to all Renaultsport Megane variants has always been the way they handle, and this model is no exception. Thanks to a limited slip differential the combination of grip, steering feel and balance is staggering at this price point with the car rightly lauded upon launch.
