The Porsche 918 Spyder is considered a superlative hybrid sports car. Only 918 examples were produced by Porsche. If the Porsche 918 Spyder accelerates exclusively via the electric motors, 100km/h is reached after 6.2 seconds. The 918 Spyder is a two-door model; the two-seater super sports car with roadster bodywork was first presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 2010 and then launched on the market at the end of 2013. Production was discontinued in mid-2015. The 918 Spyder served as an impetus for technical developments, with the focus on further developing the drive concept with two electric motors and one combustion engine. The 918 Spyder is powered by a V8 engine with 608 hp as well as an electric motor on the front axle with 129hp and one on the rear axle with 156 hp. The total output is 887hp.

With the Weissach package, the car loses around 45 kilos and increases acceleration to 100km/h in 2.6 seconds. The top speed is 344km/h.
