Unrestored 1973 Porsche 911T 2.4 Targa in exceptionally good condition. The car came of the production line in March 1973 and is equipped with the Bosch K-Jetronic Continuous Injection System (CIS) which was developed specifically for the US market. This gave the US 911T’s more power compared to contemporary 911T’s equipped with carburettors.

This is a matching numbers California car finished in its original factory colour 022 Bahia Red and has 2 previous owners. The second owner bought the car in April 1991 (mileage at the time was 14.000mls) and kept the car for over 31 years (until July 2022) during which he maintained a detailed service record.

The current documented mileage is 147.033mls. This Porsche is in unmolested original condition: it is completely rust free and still has its original interior and targa top which are in good condition. The car was repainted in its factory factory colour Bahia Red at some stage of its life and the paint has the normal patina you would expect from a 50-year old car.

The steering wheel has recently been retrimmed in leather by a specialist. The engine runs and has the hydraulic chain tensioners upgrade (video available on request) but is in need of a service. In addition, the heat exchangers and the exhaust muffler need to be replaced (an almost new stainless steel exhaust muffler is included in the sale).

The tires (Michelin Pilot Exalto) still have sufficient thread but a new owner might consider replacing these tires as they were fitted to the car in 2005. The lights and bumpers have been converted to European specification using original Porsche parts (the original US-spec parts come with the car). Also included in the sale is a brand new car cover with Porsche logo.

The car has a USA title and registration and was imported in the Netherlands in 2022; all EU import duties and VAT have been paid. It comes with original keys, Owners Manual and jack.
