Description

In 2016, we were commissioned to search and totally restore a Porsche 911 E to the client’s requirements. It was to be a restoration to concours condition and also required a number of modifications and upgrades to the car. After some searching, we found a suitable candidate in the form of a 1969 Model F, E coupe. The car was completely disassembled and then offered to “de autobeitserij “ in Groningen for paint-stripping, de-rusting and subsequent cold conservation ( KTL ) treatment so that it would have maximum protection. All places where there would be any suspicion of rust were restored by us with new sheet metal parts, and because of the owner’s height, the roof plate containing an aftermarket ( not original ) sunroof was replaced with a closed roof plate. Finally, the entire body was epoxy coated inside and out, straightened, and beautifully finished with schiefer grau paintwork and sprayed twice in clear coat. Particular attention was paid to the quality and fit of the various sheet metal parts. An extensive report of this work can be found on our website.

In consultation with the owner, it was decided to offer the car to the well-known Porsche specialist Lammertink to finish the entire car. He did not waste any time and provided a total restoration of the technology including a 2.7 liter engine, built entirely according to RS specifications. Suspension, all electrical components, chrome work, and finally the entire interior were built with only the best materials with extreme attention to detail. Recaro sports seats in the style of the rs were also fitted.

The bordeaux red leather contrasts beautifully with the gray paint color and gives it a chic sporty look. The result is stunning, this 911 is in excellent condition down to the last detail. Due to circumstances, the car was subsequently not driven much and the owner has now decided to sell it through us. We cannot stress enough that here is an opportunity to own one of the most special Model F Porsches currently being offered! The total restoration is substantiated by a file with bills of all work and a file of photos. This Porsche must be seen and that is of course possible in our showroom in Dirksland where we will gladly tell you all about it.
