Description
Guide price: £35000 - £40000.

Great service record including fully stamped book and large history file corroborating mileage of only 77,595

Grand Prix White exterior complemented by high specification blue leather/white piping interior

Correct smart 16" Fuchs alloys with body coloured centres enhance classic Targa silhouette

Usual trouble spots attended to in 2016, including sills and reinforcing 'kidney bowls'

This is a genuine, factory-specification, U.K. Sport model, with a Porsche Heritage Certificate detailing its build specification including the M14 pack with larger 16" Fuchs wheels, upgraded Bilstein shocks, front spoiler and rear wing spoiler. The correct, European black rear wing helps identify this as a bona fide Sport. Along with the leather electric seats and mirrors, this was a well-optioned 911 in a great colour combination.

The original Burgundy book pack is present with all the relevant manuals and inserts showing the car's first owner and 15 service stamps, 10 of which were with main dealers, help to corroborate the indicated mileage of just over 77,000. The owner's file also contains many older MoT Certificates and sundry invoices and there is even the Porsche-supplied plastic bag with accompanying plastic gloves should a tyre change become necessary.

The history file includes in excess of £10,000 of invoices over the years for upkeep including a service last year, less than 500 miles ago, with a well-respected Porsche specialist. In addition, in 2016 a further investment of £4,500 was made in restoring the 'kidney bowls', Targa section, and sills, so all the important areas are in excellent shape. Included in the history file are a period range brochure, data sheet, and original price list for the '81 911, detailing the UK Sport specification and costs.

Prior to the sale, Brookspeed Porsche in Hampshire, who carried out the servicing last year, have been entrusted with the car for some final detailing and pre-sale preparations.
