Description
Daytona Automobil presents the 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 RS Recreation, a meticulously crafted homage to one of Porsche's most iconic models, finished in striking Kermit Green.
This recreation is based on a 1975 Porsche 911 S and has undergone an extensive restoration and transformation, with over 800 hours of work invested in the body and chassis. The entire car has been rebuilt using metal, not plastic, ensuring durability and authenticity. Virtually every component is new, including the brakes, steering wheel, interior, seatbelts, instruments, and wheels. The car sits on 9 & 11 x 15-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin TB tires, delivering a classic look with modern performance.
The heart of this recreation is a high-performance engine built by renowned expert Bosse Strandell. The car’s estimated weight is just 1000 kg, paired with an engine producing over 280 hp, resulting in an exhilarating power-to-weight ratio. This setup makes for a truly fast and thrilling driving experience, echoing the spirit of the original Carrera RS.
Inside, the car features a 10,000 rpm tachometer and a 300 km/h speedometer, underscoring its performance capabilities. The interior has been completely redone, offering a fresh, period-correct look and feel.
The car was meticulously restored and built by Ulrik Ahlund, with every detail carefully considered to recreate the essence of the original Carrera 3.0 RS. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail in this build is exceptional, making it a standout example of a 911 recreation.
