Im Herbst 1973 stellte Porsche die G-Reihe vor. Die im Topmodell Carrera 2,7 vorgenommene Hubraumerweiterung machte sich eindrucksvoll bemerkbar. In 6,3 Sekunden beschleunigt der Wagen auf 100 km/h und erst bei 240 km/h endet der Vortrieb: Rennsport für die Straße! Der 2,7-Liter-Boxermotor wurde 1976 durch  die 3,0-Liter-Maschine abgelöst, weil der scharfe RS die neuen Abgasnormen nicht erfüllen konnte. Das nur in geringer Stückzahl produzierte Targa-Modell ist heute sehr selten und äußerst gesucht.

Dieser 911 2,7 Carrera Targa wurde am 23.11.1973 bei Hahn in Stuttgart erstausgeliefert. Das Fahrzeug wurde gemäß seiner Lieferspezifikation originalgetreu durch den Porsche Fachbetrieb „Probst – Motorsport“ vollständig restauriert. Die Restauration wurde 2019 abgeschlossen. Anschließend wurde der Wagen etwa 800 km eingefahren.

In autumn 1973 Porsche introduced the new G-series. The capacity expansion of the top model Carrera 2.7 accelerated the car in  6.3 seconds to 100 km / h and did not end until 240 km/h: Racing for the road! The 2.7-liter boxer engine was replaced in 1976 by the 3.0-liter engine, because the sharp RS could not fulfill the new emission standards. The Targa model, which is only produced in small numbers today, is very rare and extremely sought after.

This 911 2,7 Carrera Targa was first delivered on 23.11.1973 at Hahn in Stuttgart. The vehicle was restored true to the original by the Porsche specialist company “Probst–Motorsport” in accordance with its delivery specification. The restauration was completed in 2019. Afterwards the car drove only about 800 km.
