Description
• Excellent Driver-Quality Example With 32,000 Miles
• Finished in Black Over Black With Upgraded Euro-Spec Bucket Seats
• 1 of 852 Produced for the North American Market In 2004
• A Highly Original Example With Clean Carfax
• An Emerging Collectible of the Bygone Analog Era
The excellent driver-quality 996.2 GT3 presented here, chassis # WP0AC29974S692695, is finished in Black over a Black interior with upgraded Euro-Spec bucket seats and 32,100 miles from new. It is one of 852 produced for the North American market in 2004 model year and one of 2,313 996 GT3 examples produced.
This GT3 was delivered new in Cincinnati, OH and acquired a bulk of its mileage in the first 10 years, through a handful of owners. Servicing looks to be normal and consistent over the years and includes a record from a New York dealer in March 2024, who performed an oil change service, replaced the drive belt, replaced the horns, and a brake fluid change. This GT3 was specified with the following options:
X70 - Stainless-steel door entry guards with logo
L041 - Black Paint
288 - Headlight washers
454 - Cruise control
573 - Automatic air conditioning
601 - Xenon Headlamps
571 - Activated charcoal filters
Today, this GT3 presents in excellent original condition with the only obvious modification from stock being the highly desirable Euro-Spec bucket seats and aftermarket pedals. Upon close inspection and via paint meter readings, we believe the car is all or mostly original paint with very minimal blemishes relegated to the front end of the car in the form of light stone peppering. Original cosmoline can be found on all the right places of the underside, original stickers and finishes can be found in the engine bay and frunk area, and there are no signs of any previous modifications. Overall, this would be a welcomed addition to any enthusiast’s garage looking for an analog Porsche GT car that is sure to appreciate over time while providing many more miles of driving enjoyment.
Included in the sale of this GT3 are some of the factory tools, the factory air compressor, clean CARFAX and a replacement OEM front lip spoiler that has yet to be installed.
