It is a pleasure to drive with this Porsche! When you’re on the road you immediately forget that this car is already more than 30 years old. This was the first Porsche 911 with power assisted steering and a completely new suspension setup. The car still has its original paint which is in lovely well kept and shiny condition, although the front bumper has a few scratches and could be improved. The lovely black leather interior is in good and original condition.
The car shown here is your chance to own a quite rare and lovely Porsche 964 Targa, in great condition and in a beautiful colour. Just open the roof and enjoy the beautiful roads! As said the car comes with full Porsche main dealer service history.
Price is Euro 110.000,-.

Model History
The new generation of the 911 came onto the market in model year 1989. The 911 Carrera 4 was the first 911 to feature all-wheel drive and was available in the Coupé, Targa and Cabriolet body styles. From model year 1990, an identical rear-wheel drive version (first model with Tiptronic) was available: the 911 Carrera 2.
Face-lifted but retaining retaining the classic shape of the 911, the ‘964’ had been given a more extensive work-over mechanically. 87% of parts being claimed as entirely new. Despite many similarities in design, the 964 had much better aerodynamics than the G model. This was mainly achieved by the new, rounded front and rear ends and the automatically extending rear spoiler.
The Carrera 4 and Carrera 2 shared the same 3.6-litre air-cooled flat-six engine, producing 250bhp at 6100 rpm. Its new engine enabled the 964 to out-perform the old ‘3.2’ yet still meet the latest emissions regulations, top speed increasing to 260km/h with 0-100km/h in 5.4 seconds (5.6 seconds Tiptronic). Power-assisted steering, anti-lock brakes and a five-speed manual transmission were standard on both models. The Tiptronic auto was only available on the Carrera 2.
