As one of 37’406 Ro 80 with their legendary smooth twin disc rotary engine, produced between 1967 and 1977, this lovely saloon with its 3-speed gearbox and automatic clutch was handed over to its first owner by Agricola-Ticinese SA in Giubiasco. As can be seen in the original invoice this NSU, like most of them, received a new engine in 1975 at 42’091 kilometres. Later, the – for its time - very aerodynamic saloon was probably garaged for a number of years before it was taken over by a lady and in 2017 finally by the vendor. Several years ago, the coachwork was repainted in its original colour and recently the tyres, the front brakes and the exhaust system were replaced. With now just over 84’000 kilometres driven, the Ro 80 is in very good condition and will be sold with the last Veteran MOT from June 2022.
